HELLO! I am excited for the 109th Cookport Fair to begin. I would like to thank all the sponsors, volunteers, board members and exibitors for the fair. Also, thanks to the stock holders. We continue to grow the fair. We have horse pulls, pony pulls, log saw contests, tractor pulls and truck pulls, as well as fiddle contests, and fun competitions. We have something forevery age range.
What started out as a one-day event for the students has turned into what we have today. A week long event not only for the students of the area schools but for all people to attend and enjoy.
We have tried to stay with good clean fun, the way they intended it to be. Our exhibits and entertainment are based on what the people 100 years ago would have enjoyed. Please come on out to and enjoy our fair.
There is entertainment galore all week long. We are one of the few fairs that still starts with the vesper service held every Sunday evening. We have restrooms, showers, paved walkways, lighted parking and a free shuttle service on the weekend.
Again, this year, we will not be showing chickens.
Come find me if you have suggestions or questions.
