1) Entry Fee paid by all except Department 11.
2) No article can compete as more than one entry; that is, an article can be judged but once.
3) All Clothing must be laundered and ironed.
4) Each exhibit to be judged on workmanship, worth of article, appropriateness of material and design.

Bases for judging Household and Needlework exhibits:

1) Plain sewing – Lingerie or aprons to be judged on
a) Worth of article
b) Materials and trimmings, appropriateness, quality
c) Workmanship – method of construction, choice and execution of stitches.
2) Dressmaking – Simple house dresses, shirtwaist, or skirt, simple school dress for girl to be judged on
a) Material – its appropriateness, quality, color, and design.
b) Design – simplicity of line, harmony of color, appropriateness.
c) Workmanship – method of construction, choice and execution of stitches
3) Embroidery and Crocheting – Simple designs and edges for trimming to be judged on
a) Worth of article
b) Material - appropriateness and suitability for use for which it was made.
c) Design - simplicity and appropriateness
d) Workmanship
4) Knitting – to be judged on
a) Worth of article.
b) Workmanship - execution of stitches, perfection.
c) No machine knitting unless stated.
